Your Chance to Buy a Piece of Nokomis History!
The Great Warrior Moments Campaign is an effort to help acquaint present and past students, as well as the community with great moments from the past. The funds raised will go to the students of Nokomis by way of a couple of clubs and a new Student Assistance account. This Student Assistance account would be used to aid students who fall on hard times and need some financial help.

World's Longest Canoe
The first piece of memorabilia available from Great Warrior Moments will be a piece of the World's Longest Canoe. On the 8th of July, 2006, Guinness World Records certified that Nokomis had built the World's Longest Canoe measuring in at 45.44m (149ft 1in). This is a chance to own a piece of Nokomis history as well as a piece of a certified world record. The taxidermy section of the canoe has been cut into pieces and placed in a display package along with a copy of the Guinness World Record certificate and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the designer. There are three packages available for purchase; the Gold Series for $10.00, the Principals Series for $15.00 and the Platinum Series for $20.00. These packages are all in limited supply and once they have sold out there will be no more created.
