For anyone interested in Substituting in schools and does not have a current CHRC certificate:
Until June 30, 2022, the Department of Education is reimbursing those who may be interested in being a substitute teacher for Background Checks and Fingerprinting. CHRC ONLY applications are being reimbursed for the fingerprinting and application costs ($55, $15 respectively), if the person requests it, as part of the “Guest School Staff Member” campaign from January 1-June 30.

Due to new CDC guidance and Somerset County now being deemed medium for transmission and lower local cases of Covid-19 in many of our towns, RSU 19 will be mask optional as of Monday, February 28th. We will continue to monitor conditions closely.
